The ePosters – the digital version of the medical posters – are intended to provide a display of information that is not possible with a traditional printed poster by enabling the delegates to interact with them and express their opinion.

The ePosters enhance visualization of the content in order to attract the interest of delegates making this method of presentation change the way poster sessions will be conducted in the future.

ePosters increase poster visibility after the event, providing another highly effective platform for promoting continuous education and extending the congress life cycle with options to share, comment and even raise questions to the author.

The ePosters module is the only platform that it is fully interfaced with the scientific programme of the congress and the congress website, making the posters available on all platforms with no extra implementation cost. Also, any changes will automatically reflect to all data sources of the congress avoiding the upload of the same abstract to several different systems.

The ePosters module has been developed based on the experience and feedback of ePosters’ submitters and viewers along the years; we have done all possible efforts in order to set a cutting-edge platform to improve the submission process and provide to the delegates a suitable viewer that will grant an optimal experience to the user.

 

ePosters Submission:

 

The scientific committee chooses abstracts to be presented as posters, ask authors to authorize the publishing of their posters as well as their visibility before, during and after the event and then categorize them in topics and sessions according to the official programme.

The ePosters are submitted either as pdf or as image format and their content is indexed for keyword searches; additional information can be provided by authors such as their photo or biography.

The following actions can be performed:

• Use sectioning tool to break down the ePoster in smaller areas
• Quickly navigate to a specific sectioned area using ePoster areas map
• Drag and drop adjustments to the ePoster sections
• Highlight text to emphasize a specific information
• Add custom menu layout
• Give permission for the ePoster to be downloaded by participants

 

ePosters Viewer:

 

During the meeting the ePosters can be viewed by delegates at the ePoster arenas or viewing stations located throughout the venue. With a simple search, delegates can easily access the posters they are interested in viewing by typing a keyword in the on-screen keyboard. Alternatively the search can be filtered by categories, abstracts, authors, speakers, poster number or country.

Each poster has an embedded abstract, a mini map that has a full bordering of the areas and also a list of area titles and high-resolution touch screens provide excellent quality viewing experiences and allow seamless switching from full view to section view.
